Long-Term Goals

1. Provide medical treatment and localized support for amputee children who were left out by official
  channels of assitance via our international network of volunteers

2. Follow the recovery process of May 12 quake amputee children through adulthood.

3. Urge the Chinese government to allocate funds for every amputatee child.

Mobile units like these are already in use in Sichuan, funded by donation money after the quake. We are working to turn one of these vehicles into a prosthetics mobile unit to provide child trauma survivors with prosthetics fittings and rehabilitation in their local hospitals.
