Seeing Luwen this time, I was surprised to see her new haircut. Then I found out her school required it. She cried for two days over this. She also lost some weight. Luwen’s mom said it’s because her days at the boarding school are stressful while the food is very bland. Every time she goes home during the weekend, she gorges. Her prosthesis doesn’t fit her anymore. It’s nearly two centimeters short. Luwen misses the uncles and aunts who helped her while she had the prosthesis fitted in the U.S. She and her mom wanted me to express their sincere appreciation. Luwen sends her best wishes to uncles & aunts for good health and prosperity in the new year. Also, she wanted to remind everyone to drive safely in America’s snowy winter and be happy everyday! She looks forward to coming to the U.S. again for a new fitting and can’t wait to see Noah and Xiao Bei this summer.
 
这次见到露雯,惊讶地发现她剪了短发，原来是因学校强行要求，为此还哭了两天。她也清瘦了不少，妈妈说她是因为住读的学习生活比较紧张，伙食清淡造成的，周末回来她都要大开荤戒、打牙祭，呵呵。假肢已不适合她穿戴，短了将近两寸，露雯很想念叔叔阿姨们，想起她在美国安假肢时叔叔阿姨对她的帮助，她和妈妈的感激之情就油然而生，在这里她托我向大家转达她们诚挚的谢意，希望叔叔阿姨在新的一年里万事如意、身体健康、财运滚滚，还有冬天美国雪厚路滑，开车时都需注意安全，露雯说希望叔叔阿姨都要开开心心过好每一天！她也对今年夏季可能赴美安装新假肢充满了期待，盼望再次见到诺亚和小贝。
